Elim Springs Peacock and Ostrich Farm Limited Terms and Conditions:
Thank you for choosing to book with Elim Springs Peacock and Ostrich Farm Guest House. We look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking, you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
1. Prices: The price includes accommodation plus any board indicated and VAT. Breakfast is optional. Unless clearly stated on the booking form all extras such as additional meals, telephone, drinks etc are additional and paid for separately. We accept the following forms of payment: M-Pesa, debit cards, credit cards. Credit cards incur 2.5% surcharge. M-Pesa is our preferred mode of payment. Card payments may be unavailable
2.Cancellation: Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. Our cancellation policy for booking less than five days is that any cancellations should be given with 48 hours notice prior to the stay. For any booking over five days, it will incur one night deposit charge which is non-refundable. We do urge you to take out travel insurance at the time of booking.
3.Non-availability: We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
4.Check-in time: Chek-in time is from 12 Noon EAT, If you want to check in before 12 Noon, please give us a call in advance. Your bill balance for the accommodation is payable on arrival.
5.Check-out time: Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 11AM EAT on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Your any extras services taken during your stay is payable on departure.
6.Damages, Breakages an Key lost: Please take care with our accommodation facilities. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage that is caused while you occupy the room including any accidents that may occur. If any damage is caused you are responsible up to the full cost of replacement or repair. The costs will be taken from the credit card used to secure the booking or pay for the stay, otherwise you will be required to pay via M-Pesa or other acceptable mode of payment at the time of departure. This also applies to anything that goes missing from your room during your stay. One key lost will incur US$ 20 charge for a replacement.
7.Liability: We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
8.Parking: We provide free parking at the Guest House to our guests. It is guest own risk to park at the Guest House.
9.Internet Access: We provide free wireless access internet. Please make sure your laptop and mobile devices have wireless function. As the service is beyond our control, we do not guarantee internet access quality.
10: No Smoking: Elim Springs Guest House is strictly a non-smoking and non-alcoholic establishment. Smoking, the consumption of alcohol, and possession of alcoholic beverages are prohibited within all guest rooms, communal areas, and the farm premises.Guests found in violation of this policy will be asked to leave immediately without a refund, and an additional cleaning fee of US$100 will be charged.
11: Pets: Pets are not permitted.
12. Quiet and Family-friendly Environment
To maintain a peaceful and serene atmosphere, we do not allow loud music or disruptive behavior. Unauthorized Parties and large gatherings are not allowed in the guest rooms or common areas. We encourage quiet relaxation and quality family time. For events or gatherings, please inquire about our event management services.
13.Room Occupancy
Guests must adhere to the maximum occupancy limit for each room type: Standard Room: 2 adults, Family Room: 5 guests (adults or children), Executive Suites: 2 adults. Any additional guests must be declared at the time of booking, and extra fees apply. Visitors are not allowed to stay overnight unless registered at the reception.
14. Ornamental Farm Tours
Access to the ornamental farm is not included in the guest house rates. Tours are available for an additional fee and must be booked in advance. Educational materials on breeding ornamental animals may be available for purchase at the farm.
15. Amendments
Management reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Guests will be notified of any significant changes prior to their arrival.
